Vietnam's vaccine maker AVAC Vietnam Joint Stock Company (AVAC) will export 150,000 doses of African swine fever vaccine to the Philippines on August 29, said AVAC General Director Nguyen Van Diep.
Representatives from AVAC Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the Philippines’ KPP Powers Commodites Inc on August 15 visited a pig farm in Hanoi's Dan Phuong district, where Made-in-Vietnam African swine fever (ASF) vaccines have been tested.
Vietnam will export 2 million doses of vaccines against African swine fever (ASF) to the Philippines and Indonesia between August and October this year, according to Nguyen Van Long, director of the Department of Animal Health under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
The vaccine against African swine fever (ASF) AVAC ASF LIVE developed and produced by AVAC Vietnam Co., Ltd. is expected to be distributed nationwide from February this year, according to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien.
Two more vaccines against African swine fever (ASF), developed by AVAC Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Dabaco Group JSC, are expected to be licensed in Vietnam by the end of this year.
