Vietnamese archers take home bronze medal

Vietnam added a bronze medal to its kitty at the Asian Archery Cup, which wrapped up on March 26 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Trio Loc Thi Dao, Nguyen Thi Hai and Le Thi Thu Hien came third in the women’s team recurve category.


They beat Malaysia 5-4 in the third-place play-off match.

Chinese Taipei won the gold medal after overcoming India 6-0 in the final.

It was the second medal for the Vietnamese at the event. Earlier, Đào clinched a gold in the women’s individual recurve event.
