Vietnam wins 8 golds at SEA Archery Championships

VOV.VN - Vietnamese archers brought home 8 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals at the Southeast Asian Archery Championship 2016, which concluded in Yangon, Myanmar on January 27.

The four-day tournament attracted the participation of 60 archers from Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Outstanding Vietnamese players, Nguyen Tien Cuong (three-stringed bow), Loc Thi Dao (one-stringed bow) and Nguyen Thi ThanhThao (three-stringed bow) won gold medals at the event.

The Vietnamese team also bagged 4 gold medals in team event in the last day of the competition.
