Vietnam into semifinals at U23 Volleyball Championship
VOV.VN -The Vietnamese women’s volleyball team have made it into the semifinals of the ongoing Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship following a 3-1 victory over Kazakhstan on July 19.

Despite enjoying an early advantage, the Kazakhstan team fought back in the second set to equal the scoring.
Vietnam’s U23 team were unbothered and continued to get the better of their rivals 14/9 and 12/6, before enjoying a 25/21 win in the third set. The host team finally broke Kazakhstan’s resolve and recorded an easy 25/16 win in the last set. The match finished with a final score of 3-1.
The semifinals are scheduled to take place at 17:30 on July 20 with Vietnam taking on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), who defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
