Vietnam finish second at Hong Kong U18 tournament

VOV.VN -The Hong Kong U18 tournament concluded with Vietnam’s U18 football team finishing second as they were held to a 1-1 draw by the host nation in the final match.

Previously, the Vietnamese team had enjoyed a 1-0 victory over Singapore in their opening game before playing out a goalless draw with Myanmar in the second match.

As a result, Vietnam’s U18s finished the tournament second with five points from three matches. The group’s third place went to host nation Hong Kong (China) who finished with four points while Singapore were bottom after suffering three losses.

Myanmar finished the tournament as champions after finishing with seven points courtesy of a victory over Singapore in the final round of fixtures.
