VOV launches writing contest on Vietnam-Indonesia relations
VOV.VN - Along with the Embassy of Indonesia in Hanoi, Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has officially launched a writing contest on the topic of President Ho Chi Minh’s historical visit to Indonesia and Indonesian President Sukarno’s visit to Vietnam.

In addition to Vietnamese entrants, Indonesian citizens living in Vietnam will be able to compete in the event.
Entries will focus on the respective visits of President Ho Chi Minh and President Sukarno, and the friendship between the two Presidents and the sound relationship between both countries.
Submissions can be typed or handwritten in either Vietnamese or Indonesian, providing that they do not violate any legal regulations.
Each entry must be original, with no plagiarism from any mass media, publications, websites, blogs, or social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter.
Entries must be printed by the author prior to the end of the contest.
The competition will have a range of prizes on offer, including a five-day trip to Indonesia, whilst the winner of the first prize will be granted a cash prize of VND8 million.
Besides, the winner of the second prize will take VND5 million, whilst the two entrants that finish in third will each get a prize of VND2 million.
The competition’s organizing board will receive entries from October 14 to December 15. Participants can send their pieces via email to icd.vov@gmail.com or by post at the following address: VOV International Cooperation Department, 8th floor, 58 Quan Su street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
Each entry must contain the author’s name, nickname if applicable, year of birth, occupation, gender, contact address, email, and phone number.
