VOV bureau in Indonesia inaugurated
VOV.VN - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) officially opened its new bureau in Jakarta, Indonesia, during a ceremony held on the morning of October 3.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties with Indonesia, Vietnam has pursued a consistent policy of attaching importance to the enhancement of friendship and strategic partnership with Indonesia.
The opening of VOV bureau in Indonesia signifies a new landmark in the strategic partnership between the two countries, in addition to helping spread information on Vietnam and Indonesia, noted VOV President Ky.
Mr Ky stated that VOV Indonesia is the national radio broadcaster’s 12th foreign bureau and will be responsible for providing Vietnamese audiences with information on Indonesia apart from giving overseas audiences information about Vietnam’s situation in the cause of national construction and defence.
The representative office in Indonesia will serve as a news channel introducing both the Party and the State’s policies, whilst also helping Indonesian people and overseas Vietnamese gain a better understanding of Party and State guidelines and policies, explained the top VOV leader.

Speaking on behalf of listeners throughout Indonesia, Tjan Linjin, President of Indonesia’s Radio Listeners Club, said the establishment of the VOV bureau in Indonesia has been the hope of VOV’s loyal listeners for a long time. VOV will develop further in the future whilst also maintaining a strong relationship with its audience, he said.
With a 74-year-long tradition, VOV is currently one of the most professional and modern multimedia agencies in Vietnam and operates in four forms of media, including radio, TV, print, and online.
