VOV inks cooperation document with Russia’s Orpheus Radio
VOV.VN - Voice of Vietnam Radio (VOV) and Russia’s Orpheus Radio have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on programme cooperation and exchanges between the two broadcasters.

The MoU was signed in Moscow on May 10 by VOV President Do Tien Sy and CEO and Artistic Director Irina Gerasimova of the Russian State TV & Radio Music Centre that includes Orpheus Radio, during Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Russia.
The cooperation document aims to strengthen cultural ties through music, focusing on exchanges between the two stations to promote Russian musical culture more extensively to Vietnamese audiences.
The collaboration includes broadcasting classical, folk, and contemporary music programmes produced by Orpheus, as well as showcasing outstanding works of global classical music across VOV’s radio channels and digital platforms.
Both sides also agreed on a mechanism to share copyrights and content data via digital systems, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations and intellectual property rights.
Russian music and culture have long held a special place in the hearts of the Vietnamese public. However, traditional and contemporary Russian music has not been widely introduced to Vietnamese listeners in recent years.
Orpheus is a Russian radio station broadcasting classical music from studios in Moscow. Its programmes are also streamed on the Internet.
Nowadays broadcasts from Orpheus radio concert hall have a special place on the air. Best concerts of Russian and foreign music season, outstanding musicians and ensembles, as well as the most significant Russian festivals and classical music competitions are introduced.
