Vietnam receives 40 citizens repatriated from Cambodia
VOV.VN - The Ha Tien International Border Gate Guard Station in Kien Giang province in collaboration with relevant authorities received 40 Vietnamese citizens repatriated by Cambodian authorities on February 24.

Among the 40 individuals, there were 2 women and 38 men who had traveled to Cambodia at different times and from various locations. They were primarily residents of northern, central, Central Highlands, and southwestern provinces of Vietnam.
According to initial information, these individuals went to Cambodia for employment but were detected and deported by Cambodia's General Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Interior for violating immigration, labour, and residency regulations.
Following their return, authorities conducted screening, investigation, verification, and necessary legal procedures under the regulations.
