“Make in Vietnam” Digital Technology Product Awards 2025 launched
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), in collaboration with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), launched the “Make in Vietnam” Digital Technology Product Awards 2025 at a ceremony in Hanoi on September 4.

The annual national awards programme recognises outstanding digital technology products that are researched, designed, and manufactured in Vietnam.
Now in its sixth edition, the 2025 awards introduce a new category honouring strategic digital technologies aligned with national priorities under Decision No. 1131/QĐ-TTg signed by the Prime Minister in June 2025.
“This year’s awards will spotlight products in key emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, 5G, robotics, and semiconductors,” said Nguyen Khac Lich, Director General of the Department of ICT Industry at the MoST. “These are not only technologies of the future but also strategic foundations for Vietnam’s digital transformation and technological sovereignty.”
The 2025 edition includes digital products in industry and construction; agriculture, natural resources, and environment; transportation, logistics, and postal services; education, healthcare, culture, and social affairs; finance, banking, commerce, and services; digital products for international markets; promising digital technology products; and strategic digital technology products.
The new “Strategic Digital Technology Products” category will recognise solutions based on core frontier technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital twin, virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR); big data, cloud computing, quantum computing; 5G/6G mobile network technology; blockchain; robotics and automation; semiconductor and chip technologies.
The application window opens on September 4 and closes on October 22, 2025. Submissions must be completed online at giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mst.gov.vn
Since its inception in 2020, the “Make in Viet Nam” Digital Technology Product Awards have become the premier national programme recognising digital innovation and localisation. The awards promote the philosophy of designing and mastering technology in Vietnam, rather than relying on outsourced or imported solutions.
