Latest repatriation flight brings home Vietnamese citizens from Japan
VOV.VN - As many as 358 Vietnamese citizens left stranded in Japan due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were safely repatriated on the evening of September 3.
A number of security, safety, and hygiene measures were taken to protect the health of travelers and prevent the spread of the virus during the flight.
Upon landing at Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa province, each individual on board underwent a health check-up.
In addition, the authorities of Ninh Thuan province also mobilised a fleet of 21 passenger coaches and four trucks in order to facilitate the transportation of passengers and their luggage to concentrated quarantine facilities.
This comes after the province also received a total of 232 Vietnamese citizens from Malaysia, with the entire group subsequently being transferred to quarantine areas.
