694 samples taken at FPT University test negative for COVID-19
VOV.VN - Thach That district’s People Committee announced on February 3 that all 694 samples taken from students and teachers of FPT University came back negative for the SARS-CoV-2-virus.
Mass testing was carried out after a 19-year-old student from the university tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on January 31. This led to the immediate testing of all staff, teachers, and students, with individuals forced to self-isolate at home or their address of residence.
With regard to the latest developments concerning the COVID-19 epidemic, the authorities of Ha Long City have decided to lift social distancing regulations placed on three markets, including Cao Thang, Gieng Day, and Ha Khau.
In line with this, the move will come into effect from midnight on February 4 and February 5.
Local authorities have also requested that relevant agencies thoroughly spray disinfectant in all areas and remind local people to closely follow COVID-19 prevention measures.
