Top leader To Lam pays tribute to fallen soldiers in Tay Ninh
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary and President To Lam on April 27 offered incense and flowers in tribute to fallen soldiers at Tan Bien Martyrs’ Cemetery in Tay Ninh province.
He was accompanied by several Politburo members and senior leaders of the Party and State, along with former officials, representatives of central agencies, and local authorities from Tay Ninh and neighbouring provinces.
The ceremony took place ahead of the 51st anniversary of Southern Liberatio and Reunification Day of Vietnam (April 30, 1975–2026), honouring those who sacrificed their lives for national independence and reunification.
In a solemn atmosphere, the top leader and accompanying officials observed a moment of silence to express gratitude to the fallen.
Tan Bien Martyrs’ Cemetery, also known as Hill 82 Cemetery, is the resting place of more than 15,000 fallen soldiers from across the country.
The site is also home to memorial sections dedicated to various forces and sectors, including education personnel, youth volunteers, public security forces and medical staff who served in southern battlefields.
