Party chief calls for patient-centred care at Military Hospital 108
VOV.VN - Military Central Hospital 108 should continue to adopt a patient-centred approach, considering treatment quality as the highest measure of its reputation and brand, said Party General Secretary To Lam.
The Party leader, who is also Secretary of the Central Military Commission, made the request at a ceremony in Hanoi on March 30 marking the 75th founding anniversary of the hospital.
He called for stronger administrative reforms, simplification of procedures, and greater application of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in hospital management and healthcare services. At the same time, he stressed the importance of fostering a humane, professional, and positive working environment, promoting ethical conduct, unity, and responsibility to enhance patient trust and satisfaction.
The Party chief also underlined the need to develop high-quality human resources, including mechanisms to identify, train, attract, and effectively utilise talent, enabling medical professionals to fully realise their creativity and dedication.
In addition, the hospital was urged to strengthen its academic capacity by integrating treatment with scientific research, training, and technology transfer. Expanding international cooperation and adopting advanced medical technologies were highlighted as key steps toward meeting global standards.
Regarding long-term development, the leader encouraged the hospital to uphold its core values of “Compassion – Intelligence – Trust,” with medical ethics as the foundation, innovation as the driving force, and credibility as the ultimate benchmark. He expressed confidence that the hospital would continue to evolve into a model institution for healthcare services serving senior officials, military personnel, and the public.
On behalf of the Party and State leadership, the top leader presented the Ho Chi Minh Order to the hospital in recognition of its outstanding contributions to protecting, caring for, and improving public health.
