Vietnam congratulates Cambodia on new legislature and government formation
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on August 22 extended congratulatory messages to their Cambodian counterparts Hun Manet and Khuon Sodary respectively on the formation of the new Government and National Assembly of Cambodia for the 2023-2028 tenure.
In their congratulatory messages, the Vietnamese leaders expressed their belief that under the leadership of the new Prime Minister and new National Assembly leader, Cambodia would continue to reap great achievements in building a peaceful, stable and prosperous nation with an increasing role and position both regionally and globally.
They said they also believe that in the coming time, the good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and long-term, durable and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia would continue to yield good results in the interest of the two peoples, actively contributing to the ASEAN Community, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large.
On this occasion, Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also sent a congratulatory letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sok Chenda Sophea.
