Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan congratulates CPV Congress
VOV.VN - Former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, leader of Japan’s Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP), has sent a congratulatory letter to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, expressing confidence in the country’s long-term development path.
In a letter dated January 13 addressed to the Congress, Noda wrote that he wished to convey his “warmest congratulations from the bottom of our hearts” on the occasion of the Communist Party of Vietnam convening its 14th National Congress.
He said he was confident that the Congress would serve as a solid foundation for Vietnam’s continued development, citing the review of nearly 40 years of its reforms, 35 years of implementing the national development platform, five years of executing the resolution of the 13th Party Congress, as well as the setting of directions and tasks for the 2026–2030 period with a vision to 2045.
According to Noda, cooperation and exchanges under a memorandum of understanding between the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam have helped deepen mutual understanding and trust between the two parties.
Against the backdrop of growing international uncertainty, he said the CDP hopes to further develop relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam, contributing to peace and prosperity in the region.
Noda concluded the letter by wishing the Congress every success and expressing his best wishes for the continued progress of the Vietnamese people.
The Communist Party of Vietnam is scheduled to hold its 14th national congress from January 19 – 26.
