Workshop to help businesses join global supply chains

VOV.VN - A workshop on trends and solutions to support businesses joining global production and supply chains is set to take place in Hanoi on May 26, 2026 in both in-person and online formats.

The event is organized by the Trade and Investment Promotion Support Center under the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The program is designed to help businesses update their understanding of global supply chain shifts and examine Vietnam’s new position amid the ongoing restructuring of international production networks.

The workshop will provide information on opportunities, challenges and the practical potential for domestic firms seeking to join global manufacturing networks.  It will also introduce solutions related to finance, technology and the improvement of business capacity through greater supply chain transparency.

The event is expected to bring together representatives of management agencies, ministries, sectors, localities, industry associations, trade promotion organizations and businesses.

At the workshop, experts will outline the broader restructuring of global supply chains amid geopolitical tensions and manufacturing shifts, from the “China +1” trend to requirements linked to ESG standards and product traceability.

Businesses will also receive information on entry requirements for the supply chains of several foreign-invested enterprises, along with the capability gaps facing domestic firms.

Experts are also expected to recommend solutions to help businesses gain better access to finance and technology in order to participate more effectively in supply chains.
