Vietnam Grand Sale 2025 launched to stimulate consumer spending

VOV.VN - Vietnam Grand Sale 2025, the largest promotion campaign nationwide, kicked off on December 1, aiming to stimulate domestic consumer spending, boost production and business activities, and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

The campaign also seeks to raise domestic consumers’ awareness of the quality of Vietnamese goods and services through widespread media coverage.

A key highlight of this year’s programme is that businesses from all economic sectors can now offer promotional discounts of up to 100% on goods and services, compared to the usual 50% limit. Enterprises are required to conduct promotional activities legally, transparently, and honestly, safeguarding consumers’ rights while ensuring product and service quality in compliance with current regulations.

Le Hoang Tai, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated that the 2025 campaign is expected to build on the success of previous years, boosting retail sales and service revenue during the year-end shopping season, thereby supporting the country’s economic growth targets for 2025.

“With careful preparation and coordinated efforts among ministries, local authorities, and industry associations, Vietnam Grand Sale 2025 is anticipated to achieve impressive results, driving the growth of retail sales and consumer service revenue in December 2025, with a target annual growth of around 12%, as set by the government,” said the trade official.

Running from December 1, 2025, to January 18, 2026, the campaign involves supermarkets, shopping malls, e-commerce platforms, and modern distribution networks nationwide. A wide range of discounts, promotions, and gifts will be offered, allowing consumers access to high-quality products at reasonable prices.

Through this programme, businesses will actively implement diverse and attractive promotional activities, providing consumers with opportunities to purchase quality goods and services at competitive prices.
