Petrol prices go down to less than VND20,000 per litre
VOV.VN - Petrol prices were revised down as of 3:00PM on March 13 by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, standing below the VND20,000/l mark.

The regulatory agencies decided to reduce prices by VND680 per liter for petrol E5 RON 92 and VND760 per liter for petrol RON 95. After the adjustments, the maximum retail prices are VND19,280 per liter for E5 RON 92 and VND19,640 per liter for RON 95.
Similarly, oil prices also decreased in this adjustment cycle. Diesel oil went down by VND440 to VND17,890 per liter; kerosene by VND480 to VND18,090 per liter; and fuel oil by VND160 to VND16,990 per kilogram.
The inter-ministerial agencies decided to maintain no deductions or expenditures from the price stabilization fund.
As such, RON 95 has seen three consecutive decreases in price in recent times, and it has currently reached its record low in nearly four years.
Since the beginning of the year, RON 95 has experienced five increases and six decreases, while diesel oil has seen five increases and six decreases.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is currently seeking public opinions on a draft circular detailing certain provisions of the new decree on fuel trading. The draft of the new decree, intended to replace existing decrees on fuel trading, is also under review by the Government Office for feedback from government members.
According to the draft circular, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will not publish global prices; instead, traders will base their calculations on the pricing formula and cost components specified in the new decree and this circular.
