Petrol prices fluctuate, oil prices decline

VOV.VN - Retail prices of petrol and oil products were adjusted from 3 p.m. on February 6 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 petrol rose by VND50 per litre to be sold for no more than VND20,440 per litre.

The price of RON95-III petrol fell by VND80 to VND20,920 per litre at the maximum.

Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S is capped at VND19,050 per litre, down VND190 per litre. The kerosene price is not higher than VND19,410 per litre, down VND20 per litre.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is now sold at no more than VND17,350 per kg, down VND150 per kg.

In the latest price adjustment cycle, the two ministries decided not to make use of the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund.

Since the beginning of the year, petrol prices have undergone a total of six adjustments, including three rises and three declines of RON95-III petrol, four rises and two declines of E5 RON 92 petrol.

So far, oil prices have experienced four times up and two times down.
