Petrol prices slightly down in latest adjustment

VOV.VN - The retail sale prices of petrol products were revised down starting from 3 p.m. on February 1 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Specifically, E5 RON 92 dropped by VND200 per litre to be sold for no more than VND20,390 per litre, while RON95-III fell by VND140 to VND21,000 per litre at the maximum.

The prices of oil were also adjusted downward, with diesel going down by VND950 to VND19,240 per litre and kerosene by VND680 to VND19,430 per litre.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was priced at VND17,500, decreasing by VND250 per kilogramme compared to the previous price adjustment made a week ago.

In the latest price adjustment cycle, the two ministries decided not to make use of the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund.

Since the beginning of the year, petrol prices have undergone a total of five adjustments, with three rises and two declines. Meanwhile, oil prices have experienced four increases and a single drop.
