Gold bar prices reach historic high of nearly VND93 million per tael
VOV.VN - The price of domestic gold bars on February 11 continued its upward trajectory, climbing to reach a historic peak of nearly VND93 million per tael to surpass all previous records.
It was also boosted by record rallies occurring in international gold prices.
At 9 a.m., SJC gold prices were quoted by major enterprises, such as Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company, DOJI, PNJ, and Phu Quy, at VND89.8 million per tael for sellers and VND92.8 million per tael for buyers.
This marks an increase of VND1.5 million for both buying and selling compared to the closing price during the previous session.
The price difference between buying and selling prices stands at VND3 million per tael.
Similarly, gold ring prices also recorded a significant increase. Particularly, gold rings at PNJ company were listed at VND89.5 million per tael for sellers and VND91.7 million per tael for buyers, up VND600,000 from the closing of the previous session.
In terms of the global market, gold prices continued to set record highs on February 10, surpassing the important milestone of US$2,900 per ounce for the first time.
