Gold bar and gold ring prices keep rising
VOV.VN - The price of both gold bars and gold rings continued their upward trend in line with global trends on November 23.
The morning of November 23 saw the Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company (SJC) and Doji Group lift the SJC-branded gold prices to VND85 million per tael for buying and VND87 million per tael for selling, up VND300 million compared to the previous session.
Meanwhile, prices of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company were quoted at VND85.3 million and VND87 million per tael for buying and selling. In addition, the difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold was extended to VND1.7 million per tael.
Similarly, gold rings also witnessed a surge. Accordingly, the SJC traded gold rings stood at VND85 million per tael for buying and VND86.5 million for selling, both up VND400,000 over yesterday’s trading session.
Meanwhile, the prices of gold rings at PNJ Company stood at VND85.5 million per tael for buying and VND86.8 million per tael for selling.
The selling prices of gold rings at DOJI Group were at VND86.6 million per tael, while those of Bao Tin Minh Chau were VND86.5 million per tael.
Globally, this morning saw gold prices undergo a sharp increase, up US$50 to reach US$2,716 per ounce.
Gold prices rose due to the demand for safe havens increasing following the United States authorising Ukraine to fire long range missiles into Russian territory.
