Close to 100 local businesses join Thai food and beverage fair

VOV.VN - Roughly 100 Vietnamese enterprises are showcasing their agricultural, processed, and frozen products at the ongoing Thaifex -Anuga Asia 2022, the region’s largest food and beverage (F&B) trade fair.

In his speech at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh highlighted the fair as a prime change for Vietnamese businesses to promote their products and seek partners from both Thailand and other regional countries.

He also shared his desire to establish an association comprised of Vietnamese manufacturers operating in Thailand, with the aim of bringing more Vietnamese goods to Thailand in order to meet the demand of local people and contribute to ramping up co-operation between the two sides.

This year’s fair has attracted the participation of 1,603 exhibitors of 881 enterprises coming from 37 countries globally.

The event is being held at the IMPACT complex in Bangkok and will run until May 28.
