Watercolour painting exhibition marks 75 years of Vietnam-Poland diplomatic ties
VOV.VN - As many as 30 watercolour paintings created by artist Minh Dam, who holds dual Vietnamese and Polish citizenship, are currently on display in Poland, marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland (1950 – 2025).

The paintings vividly portray Vietnamese landscapes, daily life, and people, offering viewers a deeply personal interpretation of Vietnam through the lens of a person who has lived between two cultures.
Minh Dam described the collection as a journey of cultural fusion and identity, where Vietnamese traditions and Polish influences harmonise to form a unique artistic voice. Each painting not only showcases technical finesse but also conveys stories of heritage, memory, and belonging.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the artist shared his wish to bring the exhibition to Hanoi later this year, contributing to the year-long celebrations of 75 years of relations between the two countries.
In addition to the art on display, guests at the opening enjoyed live performances by Bluewave, a band known for blending Vietnamese, Polish, and international music styles, further emphasising the exhibition’s theme of cultural integration.
The exhibition, jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland and the Museum of Asia and the Pacific, will be open to the public until August 24.
