Vietnamese designers make mark at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026
VOV.VN - Two Vietnamese fashion designers, Ha Linh Thu and La Hong, left a distinct impression at the recent Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2026, affirming the cultural identity and creative potential of Vietnam on the international fashion stage.

Linh Thu presented her latest collection, “Stairway to Heaven,” at the historic 160-year-old Le Marois Hotel in Paris on October 1. Her designs brought a poetic, delicate, and ethereal presence to the runway.
Meanwhile, La Hong, an Austria-based Vietnamese designer, continued to make his mark by seamlessly incorporating Áo dài (traditional Vietnamese dress) into modern fashion narratives, showcasing the country’s heritage to the world.
Their appearance in Paris not only celebrated their personal artistry but also served as a meaningful step in promoting Vietnamese culture and fashion to an international audience.
Following the success in Paris, the journey will continue in Vietnam with Paris Fashion Week by Supertalent World in Vietnam, scheduled from October 14 to 24. The grand finale, to be held on October 24 at Ascott Complex, Tay Ho, Hanoi, is expected to be the biggest fashion event in Asia in 2025, attracting major attention from the fashion-loving public.
Paris Fashion Week is a series of designer presentations held semi-annually in Paris, France, with spring/summer and autumn/winter events each year. It is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks alongside New York, Milan, and London.
Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 runs from September 29 to October 7 at Wyndham Pleyel Resort Paris, featuring a total of 74 shows from designers worldwide.
