Vietnamese contestant wins gold at TSP International Arts Festival-Shanghai
VOV.VN - Vietnamese contestant Duong Duc Hai brought home a gold medal in the final round of the 2025 TSP International Arts Festival-Shanghai held from August 3 to 6.

This is Vietnam’s only gold medal that Hai has taken in the Vocal category of the contest, surpassing hundreds of international singers.
He delivered a heartfelt and precise rendition of the song “Shanghai Bund” in Chinese, impressively prepared in just three days of rehearsal with the orchestra. His performance earned prolonged applause from the audience and direct praise from leading Chinese professors and conductors.
The organising board also chose Hai to perform in the gala concert with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra at the 3,000-seat Shanghai Oriental Art Centre, a special honour reserved for only a handful of the festival’s top artists.
Earlier, in June Duong Duc Hai took two first prizes in the vocal section for both amateur and professional categories at the Crescendo International Music Festival & Competition 2025 held in Hanoi, drawing over 800 young talents from Vietnam and other countries such as Austria, France, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, and Brunei.
TSP International Arts Festival-Shanghai is not only a competition but also a major platform for cultural and artistic exchange on an international scale. The success of this young Vietnamese artist not only affirms his individual talent but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnam and its people to the world.
