Vietnamese children celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in France
VOV.VN - The Mid-Autumn Festival for Vietnamese children will take place in Lyon, Paris, and Brittany in September and October, with a view to introducing Vietnamese culture to French friends and strengthen bonds within the overseas Vietnamese community.
The Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, in coordination with local associations and community groups, will organize a range of activities, including an opening ceremony, folk games from three regions of Vietnam, art performances, showcases of traditional crafts and cuisine, and the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival feast tray, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on September 19.
In Lyon and surrounding areas, the festival will be held at the Villeurbanne Cultural Center on September 20, with around 800 participants expected. In Paris, the event is scheduled for September 27 at the Vietnam Cultural Center, drawing the largest crowd this year, with an estimated 1,500 attendees including Vietnamese children and French friends. In Brittany, the festival will take place on October 4 at Parc Exposition, welcoming about 900 participants.
Through these activities across multiple cities, the festival will provide a vibrant space for Vietnamese families and children to gather, explore traditional culture, and share Vietnam’s cultural heritage with international friends.
