Vietnamese chefs shine at Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge 2025
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese chef team made a strong impression at the Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge 2025 in Guangzhou, China, from September 25 to 27, securing 4 golds, 13 silvers, and 1 bronze medal.

Among the standout performers was Le Phuong Thy, who won one gold, two silver medals, and earned the title “Best Young Chef.” Chu Thi Diem Quynh, Phan Van Tinh, and Nguyen Truong Huynh each claimed a gold medal, while Ly Thai Tuan and Dao Thu Huyen picked up two silvers apiece.
Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), hailed the results as a milestone for Vietnam’s culinary industry, underscoring the country’s growing presence on the global gastronomic map.
Recognized by Worldchefs, the competition is a prestigious international event organized by Food2China Expo, Guangdong Imported Food Association, Constellar-Worldex Exhibitions (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., China Cuisine Association, and the JIYI Cultural Planning Committee of Shenzhen. It gathers young pastry chefs from across Asia, offering a platform for Vietnam to showcase its talent to the world.
