Vietnam-China friendship singing festival connects audiences through music
VOV.VN - Artists from Vietnam, China and Hong Kong (China) will gather in Hanoi on October 30 for the Vietnam-China friendship signing festival 2026 to celebrate cultural exchange and friendship between the two peoples.
The festival will be held at the Voice of Vietnam Theatre at 58 Quan Su Street, featuring solo performances, choral singing and traditional instrumental ensembles.
The 2026 edition continues the success of previous programmes held at the Voice of Vietnam Theatre in 2024 and 2025. It is part of annual cooperation between the Voice of Vietnam and Chinese broadcasting organisations, contributing to cultural exchange, mutual understanding and closer ties between the two countries.
Artists from Vietnam, China and Hong Kong, alongside students from arts institutions in both countries, are expected to deliver performances reflecting different musical styles and cultural influences.
Beyond the performances, the concert aims to create a space for artists and audiences to share experiences and emotions, while encouraging cultural exchange among younger generations.
Over the years, the Vietnam-China friendship singing festival has become a meaningful cultural exchange activity, enriching cultural life and strengthening connections between artists and audiences in both countries.
More than a musical performance, the programme seeks to bring people closer through familiar melodies that transcend language barriers, deepen mutual understanding and nurture friendship between Vietnam and China.
