Truc Linh crowned Miss Vietnam 2024 in Hue Grand Finale
VOV.VN - Ha Truc Linh triumphed over 24 other contestants to be crowned Miss Vietnam 2024 during the glittering final night of June 27 held in Hue, the former imperial city of Vietnam.

From the early stages of the competition, she was highly regarded for both her beauty and talent. Born in 2004 and hailing from Phu Yen province, Truc Linh stands at 1.72 meters tall, with measurements of 80-58-95 cm. She is currently a student at University of Finance and Marketing and is known for having one of the slimmest waists among this year’s contestants.
Truc Linh was the first to be called into the Top 5, alongside four other finalists Nguyen Thi Van Nhi (from Hai Phong city), Ho Ngoc Phuong Linh (from Ha Tinh province), Tran Ngoc Chau An (from Hanoi city), and Pham Thuy Duopng (also from Hanoi).
Each contestant drew a question and answered it live on stage. This year, participants were allowed to respond either in Vietnamese or in bilingual format, depending on their ability.
When asked whether artificial intelligence (AI) should be applied in learning, Truc Linh answered confidently in Vietnamese. She acknowledged AI’s usefulness and quick access to information in today’s world. However, she emphasised that AI’s answers depend heavily on how users formulate their questions. Therefore, she believed AI should be used to enhance self-improvement, while stressing that people must continue cultivating knowledge and developing critical thinking and creativity to remain distinctive and sustainable.
Thanks to her concise and direct answer, Truc Linh secured a place in the Top 3, alongside Van Nhi and Chau Anh. The crowning moment followed shortly, filled with emotion and grandeur. Ultimately, the prestigious title of Miss Vietnam 2024 went to Ha Truc Linh, while Tran Ngoc Chau Anh and Nguyen Thi Van Nhi were named 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.
This year’s stage was lavishly designed, set on the surface of the iconic Perfume River, highlighting Vietnam's rich cultural heritage. The open-air venue, enhanced with modern lighting and spectacular visual effects, offered the audience a truly dazzling and unforgettable final night.
