Renowned artists to perform at “Florilèges Français” concert in Hanoi
VOV.VN - The “Florilèges Français” (French Anthology) concert, exclusively sponsored by Techcombank and Masterise Group, will bring together an international orchestra and acclaimed artists for a world-class musical experience in Hanoi on April 25–26.
The performances will take place at Ho Guom Opera House, featuring timeless masterpieces such as “Flower Duet,” “Salut! demeure chaste et pure,” and the iconic “Barcarolle,” all recreated with vivid emotion and artistry.
The concert will be conducted by Victor Jacob, a nominee of the prestigious Victoires de la Musique Classique, who has worked with opera houses in Montpellier, Rouen, Versailles, Hong Kong and Hanoi. The conductor is expected to transport audiences into the rich musical heritage of 19th-century Parisian opera.
More than 55 musicians from the Royal Opera of Versailles Orchestra will perform a mix of solo, duet and orchestral pieces over a 90-minute programme. The concert will also feature tenor Julien Behr, promising a compelling and memorable performance.
Regarded as a “musical treasure” of France, the orchestra has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, from Paris and New York to Tokyo and Hong Kong, captivating audiences that include cultural connoisseurs, heads of state, and high-level diplomatic delegations.
The orchestra arrived in Hanoi on April 21 to prepare for the two-night event, aiming to deliver a refined and immersive artistic experience that brings international-standard classical music back to the capital.
Beyond the music, “Florilèges Français” will also intrigue audiences with the presence of Mellow Six, known for blending light, sound, and flavour into a carefully orchestrated sensory journey.
Thai Minh Diem Tu, chief marketing officer of Techcombank, said the event reflects the bank’s efforts to bring international cultural experiences to Vietnam.
