VOV.VN - A concert themed 'New generation' featuring the talented artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory Young Orchestra (HCYO), will be held on April 3 under the baton of Hungarian conductor Andrea Daru, marking the 70th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

The performance will also be guided by Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach and master clarinetist Quan Hoang.

The April 3 evening will open with two outstanding concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most renowned composers from the Baroque period. First, audiences will hear the Concerto for Four Violins and Strings, RV.550 performed by four young soloists: Linh-Xuan Nguyen, Ky-Nam Tang, Truc-Dan Tran, and Y-Linh Truong.

Next, music lovers will be treated to the "Winter" concerto from Vivaldi's renowned "The Four Seasons" suite, performed by the talented Doanh “Julian” Nguyen. All five soloists are outstanding students, the brightest gems of the HCM City Conservatory of Music's Western Music Department.

The concert will conclude with Symphony No. 8 in F major by German composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Known for its lively spirit and cheerful melodies, the piece will be performed by the orchestra’s young musicians, showcasing their energy and artistic promise.
