Ninh Binh tourism week promotes unique values of local resources
VOV.VN - The 2024 Ninh Binh tourism week will open with the theme of “The Golden Color of Tam Coc – Trang An” when it launches in late May or early June, according to the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee.
The event is scheduled to last for eight days at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourism area, Trang An ecological tourism site, and several tourist destinations across the province.
As an annual tourism activity held by the local administration, the event aims to promote and introduce unique, attractive, and outstanding values of tourism resources of Ninh Binh.
It is also one of the activities being held to mark the 10th anniversary of UNESCO recognition of Trang An Landscape Complex.
At the event, tourists will have the chance to indulge in the unique culinary culture of the region at the pedestrian street and food market. They can also take part in photo tours, enjoy a photo exhibition "Golden Season of Tam Coc– Trang An” and many other cultural and art programmes, and explore traditional handicraft items.
The highlight of the event will be a goat fighting competition which is set to be hosted by the provincial Farmers' Association.
