Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 to get underway from May 27
VOV.VN - Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 is set to open at the Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist site from May 27 to June 4, according to the administration of Ninh Binh province.
The annual event themed “Golden colors of Tam Coc - Trang An" aims to honour the various values of unique natural landscape in the locality, such as the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO-recognised World Heritage Site, as well as introducing the cultural and historic values of Hoa Lu - the former capital of Vietnam.
The opening ceremony is expected to be held on the morning of May 27, with the main stage artistically shaped by a Dong Ho folk painting on a vast paddy field.
Visitors will have the opportunity to savor an array of scenic views of peaceful villages, admire one of the most beautiful rice fields in Tam Coc, and gain deeper insights into the cultural vestiges of the Tran Dynasty in Trang An Landscape Complex.
Furthermore, guests can also enjoy water puppetry shows, Chèo (traditional opera), Xẩm singing (folk singing by blind buskers in the old days), as well as folk songs from the country’s three regions.
In addition, cultural and artistic exchanges will be held in the evenings to honour intangible cultural values.
