She Creates Change is a hybrid animated and documentary film project that promotes gender equality through six real-life stories of schoolgirls from countries across Asia and Africa, including Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania.

Each episode follows the journey of a young girl who uses life skills gained from Room to Read’s girls’ education support programme to overcome personal challenges and pursue her dreams.

The Vietnamese version of the animated film She Creates Change features voice acting by young female artists who have made positive contributions to cultural, artistic, and social activities and their life stories are similar to those of the female students in the dubbed film.

H’Hen Nie, who also serves as Room to Read global ambassador, voices the character Dewmini, a girl who launches a garden project designed to adapt to climate change. Singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh voices Naifat, a girl passionate about music who overcomes hardship to pursue an artistic path.

Meanwhile, actress Lam Thanh My voices Diksha, a character who challenges social stereotypes and gains confidence to pursue new opportunities. Huynh Thi Cam Tien voices Kaya, a girl who confronts discrimination based on skin colour and strives to prove her abilities.
