London Symphony Orchestra to come back for Hanoi Concert 2025

VOV.VN - The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), under the baton of renowned conductor Sir Antonio Pappano, will reunite with Hanoi audiences at the Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert 2025, slated for October 10 - 11 at the Ho Guom Opera House.

The event, part of the cooperation framework between Vietnam Airlines and the Hanoi People’s Committee, is to mark major national celebrations, including the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) as well as the 71st anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10).

This year’s concert is designed with fresh highlights, promising to deliver world-class classical music experiences. The choice of the Ho Guom Opera House recognized among the top 10 high-quality opera houses worldwide, not only elevates the event but also reflects Hanoi’s commitment to investing in cultural infrastructure.

More than a prestigious performance, the Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert also aims to bring classical music closer to the public, especially in an era dominated by popular culture. Sidelines activities such as outdoor performances, music education programs in schools, and live-stream broadcasts are expected to broaden access, ensuring that classical music is not reserved only for an elite audience.

“The Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert is expected to become a cultural bridge, connecting residents and visitors with contemporary classical music. At the same time, it helps promote the image of Hanoi, a thousand-year-old capital, and Vietnam as a nation of openness, cultural richness, and love for the arts to the international community,” said Dang Anh Tuan, deputy CEO of Vietnam Airlines

Since its debut in 2017, the concert has established itself as a highlight of Hanoi’s cultural life, featuring world-renowned ensembles such as the LSO, the Russian National Orchestra, and ballet artists from the Bolshoi Theatre. Each season has attracted thousands of attendees, making it an unmissable international cultural rendezvous for classical music lovers.

Tickets are now available via the official website of the Ho Guom Opera House.
