Da Nang Concert bridges the city’s history and modern vision

VOV.VN - The Da Nang Concert with the theme “Da Nang – Connecting the Future” took place at the Da Nang Museum on the evening of September 2, marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day, and the 23rd Congress of the Da Nang Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

It drew the large number of residents and visitors. For the first time, a music program was held in the historical space of the museum, combined with an outdoor stage by the Han River, with moored cruise boats allowing spectators to enjoy the performance. Da Nang Concert 2025 offered a fresh experience, blending art with cultural and historical space, creating a dialogue between the past and present, and opening a bridge to the future.

The program was scripted and directed by Meritorious Artist Quang Hao, Director of the Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang, and featured prominent artists, including Dinh Trang, Ngoc Nhung, Hoang Long, conductor Xuan Hung, violinist Trinh Minh Hien, and the singers of Trung Vuong Theater.

The concert unfolded across three thematic segments: echoes of history inspiring pride; culture and development; and global harmony connecting the future. A combination of symphony, traditional, and contemporary music took the audience on a multi-dimensional journey from historical depth to modern aspirations, with triumphant, proud melodies giving way to vibrant, globally infused harmonies. The music served both as a tribute to history and a voice of the present, expressing ambitions for tomorrow.

“Da Nang – Connecting the Future” marked a cultural milestone, reflecting the city’s spirit of renewal and integration, while affirming Da Nang as a livable, dynamic city in the new era.

The concert’s visual and auditory symphonies left a strong impression on both local and international audiences, serving as a living testament to the city’s connection with the wider world.

Audience member Tran Hoang Ngoc Tran from Da Nang shared, “Being immersed in the concert, I found it very engaging for young people, helping them appreciate and love their homeland even more.”

Da Nang Concert is poised to become a unique tourism and media product, serving the community and visitors while enriching the city’s festival and event life.
