The competition is co-organised annually by national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines’ Heritage Magazine and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

This year, contestants can register in four categories under themes such as Culture – Heritage, Destination- Landscape, Lifestyle – Human Portrait, and Special shooting techniques.

Entries are required to be a photo collection of between eight and 12 images, including at least one cover photo option.

Each photo series must have an introduction to the theme of no more than 100 words and a caption for each photo of no more than 20 words.

Photos can be in either colour or black and white, but must be at least 5MB for each photo with a resolution of 300 dpi while the cover photo option is required to be at least 10 MB with a resolution of 300 dpi.

Contest photos must not be edited to distort the truth during post-processing nor violate copyright, while the content must comply with the Press Law, as well as culture of Vietnam.

Photos created using artificial intelligence (AI) in any form are not allowed and must have been taken in the last three years and not being used in any media or publications.

The contest will run from April 1 to July 31. Entries should be submitted directly to the website https://giaianh.heritagevietnamairlines.com.
