Da Nang to host art creatives connection event with over 20 diverse activities
VOV.VN - The Da Nang Art Creatives Connection (DACC) 2026 will take place from October 30 to November 8 at the Danang Museum and the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture, featuring more than 20 cultural, artistic, and creative activities.
The event is organized by the Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with local cultural institutions and creative communities.
Under the theme "History of Tomorrow", the program includes diverse activities ranging from exhibitions, contemporary dance, workshops, art tours, and panel discussions to art networking.
The event is expected to draw a large number of artists, curators, artisans, experts, cultural organizations, and creative communities locally, nationwide, and across Southeast Asia. The activities are designed with an open format to enhance interaction and experience, helping the public shift from passive spectators to active participants who co-create art practices within the urban context.
DACC 2026 is identified as the starting point to build a foundational platform for art and creativity in Danang. Based on the outcomes of the first year, the city plans to research scaling up the event in a bid to attract participation from artists and organizations nationwide and across Southeast Asia, and step-by-step developing DACC into an annual activity.
