Da Nang unveils lineup of exciting events for Enjoy Danang Festival 2026

Scheduled for July 22–26, the festival will take place at multiple venues across Da Nang under the theme "Feel – Enjoy – Explore," the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on July 8.

According to organisers, the festival forms part of Da Nang’s year-round tourism promotion programme, combining cultural performances, sporting events, entertainment, culinary experiences and beach activities.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Tan Van Vuong, deputy director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasised Da Nang has chosen “Da Nang – Return to Origins” as its tourism theme for 2026.

He said the slogan represents more than a promotional campaign, serving instead as the guiding principle for tourism product development, event organisation and the city's long-term tourism strategy.

“We believe Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 will not only be a summer event, but also a journey where everyone can discover a Da Nang that is closer, deeper, and more memorable,” Vuong stated.

Under this approach, Da Nang aims to offer visitors a deeper connection with the city's natural landscapes, local culture and community life, rather than focusing solely on entertainment-oriented attractions.

During the first six months of 2026, accommodation establishments in Da Nang served an estimated 9.77 million visitors, up more than 22% year on year. Revenue from accommodation, food services and travel businesses reached an estimated VND34.7 trillion, an increase of more than 21%.

The festival will take place at East Sea Park, the city's beaches and other tourist attractions, featuring an opening ceremony, a countryside-style food market, coastal experience routes, a night kite light show, beachside EDM performances, digital city exploration activities and interactive programmes for residents and visitors.

One of this year's highlights will be the debut of the Night Beach Light Gala, to be held on the northern beach of East Sea Park, combining lighting effects, music and the coastal landscape to create a new evening entertainment experience.

Local cuisine and cultural activities will also feature prominently, allowing visitors to experience a side of Da Nang that extends beyond its modern urban image.

Authorities expected the festival would not only attract visitors during the summer season but also reinforce Da Nang’s position as one of the region’s leading destinations for festivals and events, offering meaningful and memorable travel experiences.
