At 7:30 pm the same day, Thailand and Myanmar will vie for the championship title in the final match, which will also take place at Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium.
Earlier on May 11, Vietnam lost to Thailand in the semi-finals of the tournament. The Vietnamese girls were defeated 4-5 in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw in official time and so miss the chance to play in the final.
In the other semi-final match, Myanmar beat Laos 6-5 after the two sides tied 1-1 in official time.
The 2018 AFF U-16 Girls' Championship, the third of its kind, is an international women's football tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). This year's event is hosted by Indonesia from May 1 to 13.
