The club captain was honoured at a gala ceremony on October 16 jn Hanoi.
"I think the title not only recognises the continuous efforts I have made but also the team as a whole because we have done a big job this season," said Quyet.
"I accept this honour for my teammates, my friends and my family who have been a source of constant support," he said.
Hanoi FC sealed the title with five games to spare, setting a new league record.
His teammates were also recognised at the ceremony.
Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai, who is a key member of the U23 and Olympic squads, was named Young Player of the Season.
Speaking to fans yesterday Hai said he would consider the award a strong force to do it better for not only his club but the national football.
Chu Dinh Nghiem was named Best Coach while the Golden Boot went to Oseni Ganiyu Bolaji.
The organisers also presented awards to Best Goalkeeper, Goal of the Season and Team of the Season.
Teams and players from the First Division League were also honoured at the ceremony, along with the top referees.
Ngo Duy Lan was named Best Referee while Pham Manh Long won Best Referee’s Assistant.
