|National Futsal HDBank Cup gets underway in the city of Vinh in the central province of Nghe An today.
The tournament will enjoy the participation of a total of 10 teams and will feature two separate stages.
The competition’s first stage will take place from November 18 to November 24 and will include teams such as Cao Bang, Sanna Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Tan Hiep Hung, and Thai Son Bac.
They will compete in a round-robin format in order to decide the three teams that will have the opportunity to progress to the second stage.
Following this, the second stage will be held between November 26 and November 30 and will see the three best teams from the first stage join the top five teams from this year’s National Futsal HDBank Championships.
The clubs joining the second stage include Thai Son Nam, Sahako, Savinest Sannatech Khanh Hoa, and Kadichain Saigon FC.
The eight teams will then be drawn against each other to decide the fixtures with the winning teams going on to compete for the first, second, third, and fourth places in the competition’s semi-finals and final. The losing teams will go on to compete for fifth to eighth positions.
The tournament’s winning team will go on to be awarded a trophy, medals, and a cash prize of VND200 million, equivalent to US$8,800. In addition to offering prizes for the teams that finish as runners-up or in third place, a number of other awards will also be on offer, such as for Fair Play, Best Player, Best Soccer, and Best Goalkeeper.
All of the National Futsal HDBank Cup 2019’s matches will be broadcast live on VTC3, VTC8, Vietnam Journey, and VFF online.
