With Hai Ha district being one of the localities that is home to a port industrial zone, there are also nine manufacturing enterprises that operate using Chinese labourers in the region.
Therefore, the district is considered one of the localities at high risk of infection.
Following the Lunar New Year, all Chinese experts and workers are scheduled to return to work at Texhong Industrial Park, with Hai Ha district already making a request that businesses take steps to completely isolate all Chinese people in a separate area within the industrial park.
The move comes after all officials entering the quarantine area must now wear protective clothing that meets strict standards, while Chinese experts and workers have also been asked not to leave the isolation area.
Chairman of Hai Ha District People's Committee Pham Xuan Dai has stated that medical equipment has been delivered whilst disinfectants have been sprayed at areas surrounding the Texhong Industrial Park.
