Malaysia: Grenade attack wounds eight

At least eight people were injured in a grenade attack at a restaurant in Puchong city, the Malaysian state of Selangor on June 28.

According to local police, the incident took place early in the morning at around 2:15 am (local time) at the Movida restaurant where approximately twenty people were watching the EURO 2016’s Spain-Italy match.

Police ruled out a terrorist attack and said it could involve a personal revenge or rivalry among gangsters in the area.

The case is under investigation.
