Visitors savour spectacular views of Ha Long bay by Bell 505 helicopter
VOV.VN - The Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNHN) officially opened a service to take tourists on a Bell 505 helicopter tour of Ha Long bay from the Tuan Chau tourism complex in Ha Long city on the morning of May 10.

The Bell 505 helicopter is the latest model of short light single-engine helicopters. The aircraft is produced in the United States and is fitted with five comfortable seats and broad views which will be perfect to provide tourists with an impressive experience during their tour.

The aircraft will fly at a height of between 200metres and 300 metres above the sea level. Currently, the VNHN has arranged for two helicopters to be on permanent standby at the helipad on Tuan Chau island to be available to serve tourists at any time with three options of tours of 12 minutes, 25 minutes, and 40 minutes.
Do Xuan Hoa, director of VNHN, said the opening of the new service on the Bell 505 helicopter will contribute to diversifying the forms of tourism services available to visitors when visiting Ha Long bay.
