VOV.VN - Four local delicacies have been officially recognised by international cuisine magazine TasteAtlas as being among the world's Top 100 porridges.

Pork offal porridge (Cháo lòng) was placed the 17th position.

Beef porridge (Cháo bò) came 58th. TasteAtlas suggested that the dish should be served immediately while the porridge is still hot. Before eating, it's recommended to stir the ingredients to ensure that the beef cooks in the hot soup and the flavours combine.
Duck porridge (Cháo vịt) ranked 76th. The website revealed that this rice porridge is made using cooked or steamed pieces of duck meat as the main ingredient.
This hot rice porridge is especially popular on colder days of the year. It's often served with Bánh tráng, sesame seed-topped rice crackers, and a dipping sauce on the side, it added. Elsewhere, the 91st position went to rice porridge with chicken (Cháo gà).
The traditional rice porridge is prepared with added chicken pieces, onions, ginger, and Vietnamese coriander. The meat is cooked in a big pot with onions and ginger, the international cuisine magazine wrote.
