The Vietnam Pavilion, organised by the Department of International Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, covers an area of 300 square metres in the thematic zone titled “Empowering Lives” near the Japan Pavilion and at a key junction of major traffic flows in the eastern section of the Expo site.

Themed “An Inclusive Society Where People Are Centered” the pavilion envisions a comprehensively and harmoniously developed society, viewed through the lens of Vietnam’s experience that considers all dimensions of development, including the economy, culture, education, technology, health care, environmental protection, community values, and gender equality. At the heart of the pavilion is the human being both inspired to contribute and equally entitled to enjoy progress, prosperity, and happiness in a sustainable and inclusive manner.

The pavilion serves as a hub and a platform to share success stories of Vietnam with international friends showcasing a society grounded in rich cultural values, centered on people, and fueled by internal strength for sustainable development in a rising era, while striving for harmony, fairness, and ensuring no one is left behind.

Main activities at the Vietnam Pavilion include daily programmes for welcoming and guiding visitors; daily art performances; cultural promotion and investment promotion events; and regular programmes on education, culture, interaction, and direct engagement with the public.

The pavilion is also tasked with holding collaborative events and performances with other participating countries and international organisations at the Expo.

The World Expo is one of the three largest global events alongside the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games, attracting the participation of most countries at the national level.

EXPO 2025 is taking place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on Yumeshima Island, Osaka, Japan, with the participation of 158 countries and international organisations.

Themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” Expo 2025 Osaka aims to attract 28 million domestic and international visitors.
