Vietnam makes strong impression at IFTM Top Resa 2025 in France
VOV.VN - Vietnam, represented by the capital of Hanoi, has made a strong and lasting impression at the International & french travel market (IFTM) 2025 Top Resa International Tourism Fair, one of the world’s premier annual travel industry events.

Taking place in Paris, France, from September 23 – 27, the event is gathering more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries, offering a platform for global tourism promotion and cooperation.
The delegation of Hanoi introduced a 40-square-meter booth, featuring eye-catching promotional visuals, immersive videos, traditional handicrafts, culinary specialties, and a wide range of high-quality tourism publications. The space showcased the charm, heritage, and creativity of Hanoi as a modern yet culturally rich destination.
Significantly, Vietnam Airlines and 11 leading travel businesses from Hanoi joined the delegation, strengthening Vietnam’s coordinated presence at the exhibition. These companies proactively held meetings and discussions with French and European tour operators to foster new partnerships and increase opportunities to attract international visitors to Hanoi as well as Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang noted that Vietnam is increasingly asserting its position as a standout destination in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. Its tourism products are becoming more diverse, innovative, and competitive on the global market.
“We hope that this fair, combined with the dynamic engagement of our travel enterprises and international partners, will draw more French and international tourists to Vietnam,” he said.
Vietnam’s participation received widespread attention and acclaim from international tourism professionals.
“Vietnam is establishing itself as one of the world’s top travel destinations. From what I’ve observed, tourist numbers are rising, particularly due to the development of new destinations in Central Vietnam,” said Jean-Pierre Sauvage, president of the board of airlines representatives of France.
Meanwhile, Adeline Chereau, marketing director of global travel and resort group Club Méditerranée, noted, “We have promoted Vietnam for many years and consistently received positive feedback. Vietnam’s strengths lie in its diversity, including people, nature, and culture, which appeals to French tourists seeking unique experiences, from modern hotels to community-based activities.”
Beyond participating in the fair, the Hanoi delegation also conducted a series of high-level meetings to promote cooperation with Ile-de-France, the city of Versailles, and other European partners in tourism, aviation, and media. They also carried out field visits to learn from Paris’s experience in heritage management and sustainable tourism development.
